Okley Run!

A few months ago, M.I.A. announced a hiatus on her music career for a limited edition clothing line which was in the works; well it dropped today! The collection is called Okley Run and seems ot be primarily inspired by Mexico and Africa. Pieces include leggings, tees, sweatshirts, and a hot spandex jumper. I was stand-offish about M.I.A. launching a clothing line because although her style was thought to be unique, it was very much a reflection of her stylist, Carri Mundane and her fashion line, Cassette Playa, but Maya pulled through and managed to make the line her own.

I'm not going to lie: I'm a little let down by the album quality version of this track. I love the track beginning to end, but personally, the hand clap is cheesy and he simply didn't deliver on the chorus. Come on Ye. I'm sticking to the live version.
