Justin Vernon, better know as Bon Iver, has released his follow up EP to possibly the most raved about indie album of 2008; if pitchfork writes anything else on this guy there's a good chance I'll never read a PF review again, and National Public Radio's Music found a home for 'For Emma, Forever Ago' on it's Best CDs of 2008. The New EP is entitled BloodBank will release on January 20th, but as is the case with most modern music, a leak of the four track EP has hit the internet at a streaming pace; pun intended.
I don't support the downloading of leaked or pirated music and I will certainly legally purchase this EP when it's available....but until then, my favorite track from BloodBank:
I am...a blog loving, former spray paint spraying, independent music supporting, straight edge living, dodgeball playing, yanks beating boston praying, windrunner wearing, live show dancing, beard growing, sienfeld rerun watching, palm treo stylus using, classic comic book reading, thriller listening, non-judging, chicago bulls highlight tape watching, mash-up loving, globe trotting, boutique shopping, wack dj criticizing, no shame in my game having, jamba juice orange dream drinking, Newark 'BRICK CITY' New Jersey repping, fitted cap and vans looking like sneakers sporting, macro picture taking, train yard benching, obama supporting, Gshock donning, education slash journalism studying, polaroid taking, caliyo froyo eating, white album listening, tina fey marrying, kick collecting, skateboard cruising, SNES playing, bike building, track standing, halfway crook; happy to be here.
